Looking at the Jigsaw development of 770 homes in West Ealing

Here’s a look at the large development that’s been underway for a couple of years behind the Uxbridge Road in West Ealing. The latest stage completes this year.

It’s part of a £166 million regeneration project to rebuild the former Green Man Lane Estate. 464 homes on the estate make may for 770 new build flats. St John’s Primary School nearby is being extended for the start of the forthcoming academic year.

Unfortunately the finish of the buildings is pretty poor. There’s a lot of marks and stains across the brickwork due to a process known as efflorescence which leaves a white residue. It’s not great for a flagship project that’s very new.

The next stages should get underway this year.
